Are pool cover straps included with new covers from Pool Express?
Yes. Every new custom-cut cover ordered through our Pool Cover Wizard comes with a strap kit included free of charge. During the order process you choose between two systems — adjustable black straps or the traditional cord-and-eyelet — based on the connection on your existing roller.
There’s no separate charge for either option.
Which connection type should I choose — adjustable straps or cord-and-eyelet?
If you’re replacing an existing cover and keeping your current roller, match what you already have — that’s the simplest path. If you’re buying a new roller from us at the same time, the roller ships with adjustable black straps by default, so choose those for the cover.
Both systems are reliable. The adjustable straps are slightly faster to fit; the cord-and-eyelet system is the traditional setup most older rollers use.
Can I order replacement straps separately?
Yes. If your existing straps have worn out, been lost, or you’ve changed roller type, replacement strap kits are available individually. Get in touch with our team with a brief description of your current setup and we’ll match you with the right replacement.
How do I install pool cover straps on my existing roller?
Both strap systems use the same basic principle — one end fastens to the cover, the other end loops or clips to the roller tube. The adjustable straps use plastic buckles you tension by hand; the cord-and-eyelet kit threads cord through brass eyelets on the cover and ties off to the roller.
Each kit includes instructions, and our team is happy to walk you through it if you call.
